How do you run 50 marathons in 24 days?
Goodge, known by some as the fastest man to run across Australia, crossed the country on foot in just over 35 days (2,361 miles). He has also run from Los Angeles to New York in 55 days (3,011 miles), and spent the last decade engineering a body and mind capable of what most consider biologically impossible.
He runs in memory of his mother, Amanda, who died of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2018. Every project he takes on is a fundraiser. Every mile is a tribute.
Goodwin Generated Mission America is the first chapter of the Goodwin Endurance Series — an ultra-endurance platform built around athletes attempting things history hasn't seen yet.
The Goodwin Company backs people willing to push beyond what most consider possible. William Goodge was chosen to kick off the series because he doesn't talk about limits. He runs through them.

The Founder of Goodwin and Will Goodge went on a run and talked about what challenge Will was looking to take on next. Will's dream was to set a world record by running 50 marathons in 50 states in the quickest time ever. Goodwin's Founder joked that he had access to "time machines" — airplanes — and a dream started to turn into a plan.
Every run will have an option for outside participants to join in this historic achievement by running the first 5K of the marathon with Will. Since he is running in every state, there is a good chance he will be running close to you, and this is the perfect time to be part of a world record and run with William Goodge.

Goodge will be eating and sleeping on the go — in the RV and wherever the schedule allows. Team members are providing nutrition and hydration protocols for every run, along with a regimented rest and sleep schedule.
